⛺ SiteSnipe Privacy Policy

SiteSnipe watches sold-out campgrounds and alerts you when a site opens up. We collect the minimum needed to do that — no ads, no data sales, no tracking across other apps.
What we collect
- An anonymous account ID. The app creates an anonymous account on first open so your scans have somewhere to live. No name, email, or password is required.
- Your scans and watches. The campgrounds and dates you ask us to watch.
- Campground search queries. When a search returns no results, we log the query (linked to your account ID) so we know which campgrounds and parks to add coverage for next.
- A push notification token. A device identifier issued by Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver alerts to your phone.
- Email address (optional). Only if you choose to link one to secure your account, or provide one during checkout.
- Subscription status. Whether your account has Premium, set by our payment processor's confirmation.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or payment card details (payments are processed entirely by Stripe on their servers), and we don't use advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.
Who processes it
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing (their policy).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery.
- Resend — delivery of account-restore code emails.
These providers process data solely on our behalf. We never sell or share your data for advertising.
Website analytics
sitesnipe.io uses Plausible, a cookieless analytics service that gives us aggregate visit counts only — no cookies, no personal data, and no cross-site tracking. The app itself contains no analytics SDKs.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account exists. Completed or deleted scans are removed from active polling immediately.
Deleting your account & data
Two ways, both permanent:
- In the app: scroll to the bottom of the home screen → "Delete my account & data". This cancels any active subscription and erases your account, scans, and push token.
- By email: write to
lanepilotapp@gmail.comfrom the address linked to your account (or with your approximate signup date for anonymous accounts) and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Notifications
Push alerts are only ever the ones you asked for — cancellation hits, booking-window openings, and post-trip scan cleanup. No marketing pings. Revoke them anytime in Android's notification settings.
Children
SiteSnipe is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
